MANILA, Philippines — Content creator and actress Ivana Alawi has one goal after turning 29 years old: have her own family.

Ivana sat down for an interview with broadcast journalist Karen Davila for the latter's YouTube channel, and coincidentally the video went up on Christmas Day and Ivana's birthday.

After blowing out a birthday cake and wishing for people to see her Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 entry "Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins," Karen asked what else Ivana could want given the success she's had in the past few years.

"Siguro I want my own family soon. A loving, faithful husband and big family, gusto ko maraming anak," Ivana eventually responded.

Karen followed up by asking what qualities Ivana looked for in a man, and the actress said she valued loyalty, humility and a love for family.

Ivana explained i was becase two ex-boyfriends had cheated on her in the past.

"Ang lalaki pag siraulo lolokohin ka," Ivana continued. "Kung anumang itsura mo, kung wala silang contentment at loyalty... they don't really treasure you and your feelings, they're gonna cheat."

Since making her film debut in 2019's "Open," three of her next four films — including "Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins" — were MMFF entries.

Meanwhile Ivana's television acting credits include "Ang Probinsyano," "Batang Quiapo," "A Family Affair," "Sino ang Maysala?: Mea Culpa" and soon "Love is Never Gone" opposite Joshua Garciam which was shot in her late father's home country Morocco. — Video from Karen Davila's YouTube channel
