Are you an experienced Head Brewer looking to join a team dedicated to creating high-quality, consistent beer? Look no further! Lost Coast Brewery, located on the beautiful Redwood Coast of Northern California, is now hiring a Head Brewer to manage all brewing operations.

Since our founding in 1989, Lost Coast Brewery has established a proud history of crafting delicious beers. Our 77,000 sq. ft. facility includes a 120-barrel brewhouse and recently installed 10-barrel pilot brewery. We are seeking a Head Brewer who can continue our legacy of excellence and help drive our growth.

As the Head Brewer, you will lead all day-to-day activities related to production, manage the brewers and cellarmen, oversee the QA/QC department, and actively participate in raw material and beer sensory panels. You will be responsible for inventory control, production efficiency, and working with senior management on new product development.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of head brewing experience, a college degree or certification from an accredited brewing program, a strong mechanical and problem-solving aptitude, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. A focus in microbiology, food science or chemical engineering is a plus.
