Locate your Satisfactory Save and upload it to LOW.MS

We often get asked, "Where are my Satisfactory save files?" or "Where is the Satisfactory save file location?" This guide will help you locate both your local save files and your server save files.

When playing Satisfactory, your game is automatically saved. Therefore, you usually don't need to manually save your progress. However, if you want to back up your files or transfer them to a server, you’ll need to know their location. Before proceeding, ensure Satisfactory is completely closed to avoid file corruption.

Your local save files are stored on your computer. Follow these steps to find them:

Navigate to your Satisfactory save location:
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Local\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames

Tip: You can also get here quickly by pressing Windows Key + R, typing %localappdata%, and navigating to FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames.

Look for the latest saved game by checking the file's date and time.

Create a Backup:
Copy the entire folder to another location on your computer to ensure you have a backup in case anything goes wrong.

If you are playing Satisfactory on a dedicated server, follow these steps to access and back up your server saves:

Use FTP or the File Manager to access your server files.
Navigate to:
FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames

Find the latest AutoSave folder or manually saved file.

Upload Your Local Save (Optional):
If you want to transfer your local save to the server, copy the files from your local save location and upload them to this folder via FTP or the File Manager.

Run a Cloud Backup:
Use the ‘Cloud backup’ option in the control panel (left-hand navbar) to create a backup of your server saves. This ensures your files are stored securely and can be restored if needed.

Client Save Location:
Your save files are located at:
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Local\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames

Server Save Location:
Server saves are stored in the root folder:
FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames

Cloud Backup Tip:
